About HouseFacts

Making Homeownership Simpler

Every home generates a paper trail: the inspection from the day you bought it, the receipt from the water heater, the invoice from the roofer, the recall notice you hope never comes. Most of it ends up scattered across inboxes, junk drawers, and memory.

HouseFacts gives that story one home. We founded HouseFacts in 2024 as homeowners who couldn't answer basic questions about our own houses, and we built the tool we needed: a place where your home's records live, stay organized, and keep paying you back, year after year of ownership.

What we believe

Records pay off every year you own

Warranty claims, insurance conversations, repair-or-replace decisions, next year's budget: a well-kept home record can earn its keep season after season. A stronger story when you sell is the bonus, never the point.

A home shouldn't run on memory

When was the furnace serviced? Where is the water shutoff? Which receipt was that? Those answers belong in one place that the whole household can see, not in one person’s head or a decade of inbox searches.

Your data, your home, your control

HouseFacts is built to be secure and enterprise-grade while always putting the homeowner first. Your records exist to serve you, and they stay yours.

A Note From Our Founder

Like many founders, I didn't start out in this industry. I stumbled into it through frustration. In early 2021, I bought my first home and quickly realized that homeownership was far more complicated than I'd expected. There was no guide, no system, and no easy way to keep everything organized. Just a property inspection from the sale and an unfamiliar list of tasks needed for maintenance.

Soon after, I began managing my late grandfather's home and became the unofficial property manager for my parents. Suddenly, I was juggling three properties, each with its own needs, service schedules, and paperwork. Keeping track of it all and keeping everyone in the loop felt impossible.

When was the last service, and when's the next one due? How much have we spent preparing the property for sale? Which technician knows the system at the other house?

As a software person, I looked for a solution that could bring all this together, but nothing fit. After sharing my experience with others, I realized I wasn't alone. Homeowners everywhere were trying to manage their most valuable asset with spreadsheets, inbox searches, and guesswork, wasting precious time and sometimes overpaying along the way.

That's why we built HouseFacts: a modern, intuitive platform to help homeowners and their households take control of property management. It's the tool I wish existed when I bought my first home: one place to organize, track, and maintain everything that keeps a property running smoothly.
